Taking Space in Nature

To mark International Women’s Day, The Environment Magazine celebrates The Colour of Transformation film in its special edition, Women Changing our World.

Following last year’s inaugural screening, I sat down with editor Karen Thomas to chat about how the film came about, what it means to me personally and for the sector more widely, and why projects such as this are so needed right now.

The film is sad and funny, critical and hopeful. The stories show what needs to change to unlock nature, wild spaces and careers to welcome everyone… (It is) a collage of stories about identity and nature. The thread that runs through it is belonging.” - The Environment Magazine
